The Entrepreneurial Training Institute's classes are offered at various locations throughout the state. They are designed to guide new and aspiring business owners, especially women and minorities, toward successful entrepreneurship. More than 1,000 people have graduated from the program since 1992.

About ETI:
The ETI program covers such practical topics as goal setting, financing and marketing. Students develop a business plan for their own businesses, which is necessary for them to obtain financing. Once ETI classroom sessions are completed, the business plans are submitted to a panel of banking, accounting, law, marketing and economic development professionals for a thorough review.

Class size is limited to 20 students per location, which allows for interaction amoung students, instructors and facilitators. Instructors and facilitators are representatives of local banks, community development organizations and the New Jersey Development Authority (NJDA).
